Eclipse and its various components should all run in a thin client, terminal services or virtual desktop Windows environments. There are known challenges with certain hardware peripherals relating to companion products that require physical connections and have limited driver support for thin clients.
For most standard support requests, Eclipse Support will assume that the problem is common to both standalone and thin client or virtual desktop environments, and we will require you to recreate the problem in a standalone environment only if there is reason to believe that the problem may be unique to the thin client or virtual desktop environment. If Eclipse Support suspects the problem is the result of the thin client or virtual desktop environment, we may require that the problem be recreated in a standalone environment.
